}" border="0" />  </center> Sheryl Crow生于1962年2月11日，她出生在美国密苏里州的南部与阿肯色州交界处的小城市Kennett，她的家庭是一个颇有音乐底蕴的家庭，父母都是乐队成员，母亲是名歌手并且还是一名钢琴演奏教师，而父亲则是一名吹奏乐器演奏者。良好的家庭氛围使Sheryl Crow在还没有上小学的时候就有机会接触各种乐器，她也因而从小学以后就开始了学习乐器演奏的训练。不仅有良好的家庭环境影响，Sheryl Crow本身与生俱来的音乐才华也在很早就有所展现，她在只有13岁的时候就创作了自己的第一首单曲。长大之后，Sheryl Crow进入了密苏立大学学习音乐，并且当地的一支小乐队担任键盘手。在大学毕业之后，Sheryl Crow并没有一帆风顺的进入音乐界，而是在密苏里东部重镇圣路易斯成为了一名普通的音乐教师，不过，这也成为了她富有传奇色彩的音乐生涯的起点。Sheryl Crow白天作为音乐教师，并且在当地一支小乐队作歌手，晚上则在当地从事一些音乐录制工作。直到Sheryl Crow24岁的时候，她终于打起背包前往洛杉矶专心发展自己的音乐事业。  在洛杉矶的生活也并不是非常顺利，Sheryl Crow只能在最初级的录音地方打短工，但是在不久之后她取得了事业上的突破，她通过试音而成为了当时正值事业颠峰的流行天王迈克尔•杰克逊(Michael Jackson)的《Bad》世界巡回演唱会的后备歌手，在这里她不仅有机会在舞台暖场的时候一展歌喉，更重要的是她的外型引起了不小的关注，某些小报的八卦消息认为她是迈克尔•杰克逊的秘密情人。长达两年的巡回演唱会结束之后，Sheryl Crow再次无所适从，继续为寻找肯支持她发展的唱片公司而努力，虽然找到了不少有意向签约的公司，但是那些公司竟然都希望把她包装成为一名舞曲风格的歌手，这并不是Sheryl Crow所擅长的也不是她所希望的音乐路线，她仍然希望能够找到支持她个人风格的公司，但是最终在大半年的时间里一无所获，最终她再次成为了大牌歌星的候补和暖场歌手，这次她曾经先后为Bob Dylan(鲍勃迪伦），George Harrison（乔治哈里森，已故），Sting（斯丁），Stevie Wonder史蒂夫伍德），Joe Cocker(乔库克），Sinead O'Connor（辛妮奥康娜），Rod Stewart（洛史都华）和单飞的老鹰乐队(Eagles)主唱Don Henley（唐亨利）等人工作。通过与这些大牌歌手的合作使Sheryl Crow积累了许多非常宝贵的经验，并且在这期间她的创作能力得到了进一步的提高。 通过了长时间的努力工作之后，Sheryl Crow最终结识了音乐制作人Hugh Padgham，并且最终获得了和A&M唱片公司签约的机会，并且迅速开始了首张专辑的录制工作。但是Hugh Padgham依然是希望做成一张流行乐专辑，而Sheryl Crow则坚决不同意，最后新专辑的录制计划也就搁浅了。但是在此前经过了长达一年半的失意之后，Sheryl Crow非常珍惜这次来之不易的发行唱片的机会，年近30的她如果失去了这次机会的话很可能就再也没有发行专辑的机会了，因此此时的Sheryl Crow非常的矛盾，但是这时她的身为音效工程师的男朋友Kevin Gilbert帮助她度过了难关，他们组织了一些人组成稳定的音乐团体，就是利用这些默默无闻的人，Sheryl Crow的音乐才华才得到了真正的发挥，而她们在一起坐出来的音乐也才是令Sheryl Crow所满意的，这个音乐团体中的Bill Bottrell成为了她的制作人，而Sheryl Crow也终于没有让这个机会从手边溜走，1993年，这张专辑被定名为《Tuesday Night Music Club》发行，这时的Sheryl Crow已经是31岁的“高龄”了，对于一名女歌手来说这已经是非常大器晚成的了。这张专辑最初的表现只能用尚可来形容，并没有特别引起人们的关注，但是不久之后的单曲《All I Wanna Do》却成为了1994年夏天的时候最出色的单曲之一，在这首超级单曲的推动作用下，Sheryl Crow的这第一张专辑的销量竟然出人意料的达到了七白金，Sheryl Crow也因此成为了那年的最佳新人。专辑《Tuesday Night Music Club》和单曲《All I Wanna Do》所取得的惊人的成功立刻使Sheryl Crow成为了顶级的摇滚女歌星，从此开始了辉煌无限的时代。 上面听到的这首《Good Is Good》获得48届格莱美的两个提名。 <center> <img style="WIDTH: 493px; HEIGHT: 20px" height="20" src="http://city.9sky.com/non-cgi/usr/27/27_4200_1474.gif" width="493" border="0" /> </center><center /></td><td valign="top" align="center" width="5%" bgcolor="#f5f5f5" height="3"></td></tr></tbody></table><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%" align="center" bgcolor="#f5f5f5"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" align="center" width="5%" bgcolor="#f5f5f5" height="3"></td><td valign="top" align="center" width="90%" bgcolor="#b8c6aa" height="3"></td><td valign="top" align="center" width="5%" bgcolor="#f5f5f5" height="3"></td></tr><tr><td valign="top" align="left" width="5%" bgcolor="#f5f5f5" height="22"></td><td width="90%" bgcolor="#f5f5f5" height="22"></td><td valign="top" align="right" width="5%" bgcolor="#f5f5f5" height="22"></td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table></center>
