My son, Alex Chen, is one year and four months old. He is a gift from the God to us, and he is not only a pretty baby since he was born but also a genius. He can count number from 1 to 10 by using his fingers, can dance with music, can speak some simple sentences (not words), and can ponit his nose, eyes, ears, and mouth accoring to your word. He is so lovely....

I will post more pictures this weekend. Sorry that I can't type Chinese in my computer right now.

We are in USA (Michigan). Our parents are living with us, and they are teaching our baby. He can speak simple chinese sentences such as \"I want candy\", \"I want to watch TV\", \"Mama or Baba feed me\".

That\'s amazing. Alex is really smart and your parent must be very good at teaching baby . I heard baby in USA usually speak late because they are confused by two languages. When did he start to talk in sentence? At his 1 year, how many words can he speak?
My daughter is 13 months and she knows her head, mouth, ear, nose, arm,etc and will dance with music.  she can speak several words at her 11 months but no much progress since then.  She can\'t count and can\'t speak sentence. Since she is taken care of by nanny now and I\'m really worrying about her lauguage development.

My son started talking when he was 13 months. My mam-in-law was a mid-school teacher and is very good at teaching, and my mama was a kinder-graden teacher in China (and won the title of \"the top 100 kindergraden teachers in China\" in 1991. So they are very experienced in teaching our baby. Actually we teach him only Chinese, no English. So he is not confused by the bi-language switching....

wow. He is a lucky baby then. I try to only speak Chinese at home as well  but her toys all speak English and sometimes she listens to the English radio and TV too.  Looks like it\'s not a issue coz Alex has the same language environment. Thanks for telling us and please share with us more about Alex.
